find the root of your hormone imbalance

Hormones are talked about a lot, and for good reason. Hormonal imbalances are a big deal and can be quite disruptive. When people talk about hormone imbalances, they tend to lump them altogether. It’s important to tease out which hormone is out of balance (and why) to properly address things.

When hormones are mentioned, it’s often referencing sex hormones – estrogen, progesterone, testosterone etc., but your brain, thyroid, and adrenals make hormones too. And those hormones not only significantly impact your health, but they also interact with all your other hormones.

There’s an intricate connection between your thyroid, adrenals, ovaries, and gut. What can look like a sex hormone dysfunction may be rooted in your adrenals. Adrenal dysfunction symptoms may be from inflammation or a disrupted gut microbiome. Your fatigue could be from a sluggish thyroid, food sensitivities or an adrenal issue. It’s not always as it seems.

My point is - you need to determine the ROOT of your hormone dysfunction before you can fix it. Even if multiple hormone imbalances exist, you need to find the source of it all to truly rebuild and recover.

Asking the right questions (and usually a lot of them) is the best way to get started. From there, testing and recommendations can be prioritized.

Women’s health is my passion. I’ve spent the prior 15 years devoted to it and educating women on the essentials; that includes all things hormones. I created a short quiz to give you a snippet of what I ask my clients and to get you started on discovering the root of your hormone imbalance.

Check it out, tell me what you think. I’m excited to hear what you discover!
